The partnership will accelerate customer access to advanced IoT data processing technologies

5 May 2020, Ghent, BELGIUM – IoT automation and analytics software company Waylay today announced a partnership with EPAM Systems, Inc (NYSE: EPAM), a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and software development services, in response to increasing customer demand for advanced technologies that help derive more business value from IoT data.

Waylay and EPAM will work together to build and design complex integrated IoT solutions that optimize existing processes to enable clients to grow customer engagement and improve business efficiency. The partnership will help close the gap between the customer’s need for advanced data processing and the implementation of the new technologies that support it.

Making IoT data operational through automation and analytics

Companies are investing important resources in acquiring and storing data from a variety of sources to boost digital transformation initiatives. One of the biggest challenges facing enterprises today is using data to generate new revenue streams. Making use of real-time IoT sensor data, beyond data collection and visualization in IoT platforms is especially challenging, often requiring a complex mix of technologies and skill sets.

What’s next?

Autonomous service operations is getting supercharged by the advent of smart synthetic software agents, powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). These synthetic agents will assist human service agents to increase capacity and reduce tedious manual work, like root cause analysis of asset performance issues, updating work plans to deal with impending asset shut downs, etc.
